Portraits Collection
Collections of portrait photos taken between 2006 and 2016. I have always loved creating images and photography. I think the most interesting subject to photograph on this planet is, without a doubt, the human being. This collection represents a small selection of some portraits, passing through various periods, techniques and styles.
My Unknown Neighbors
This is a social photo project that includes about 130 portraits of different people. These were my unknown neighbors, through this project I was able to create relationships with every single person who is portrayed in the photos but the project also served to create new relationships between the people portrayed in the photos. Some of us had been living in the same building for decades without ever having spoken to each other, and thanks to this project they began to relate. I chose the walls of the neighborhood where I lived to tell the faces and stories of my neighbors no longer unknown.
Various Portraits
This is a series of various portraits, not part of the same collection or of the same project. They are a close selection of photos taken at various periods of my life and for various and different projects.
Toilette
This series of photos was exhibited in Italy and Spain in 2006. The 3 shots were part of a collection of photos dedicated to the concept of “bathroom”. The bathroom as a physical and metaphysical space, where to meet with oneself and with the world, but also an intimate and solitary place where to hide the dark side of the human being.
